Canon PowerShot V1 Goes Global – Pocketable 4K

Canon has officially launched the PowerShot V1 globally—a compact, creator-focused camera that’s been generating buzz since its initial debut in select Asian markets. Sitting between the beginner-friendly PowerShot V10 and the more advanced EOS R50 V, the V1 delivers a surprising amount of power in a truly pocketable form. We first saw the Canon PowerShot V1 during the CP+ 2025 event, alongside other major announcements from Canon and more. Check out CineD’s full coverage here. Its built-in 16–50mm f/2.8–4.5 zoom lens gives you a wide enough view for selfies and vlogs but with enough reach for tighter shots, too. A flip-out touchscreen makes framing easy—whether you’re shooting horizontal or vertical content—and a new quick record button helps you capture moments the second they happen.
