Atomos ATOMOSphere, A-Eye PTZ cameras, a TX-RX System, and StudioSonic Headphones Introduced

Atomos brought four new products to NAB 2025, signaling an expansion beyond their well-known lineup of monitors and recorders. Peter Barber from Atomos walked Nino through the latest releases, all products that are part of a push to expand the ecosystem around cameras and help streamline production workflows. The four products Peter introduced were their new PTZ cameras called A-Eye, StudioSonic production headphones, the Atomos TX-RX wireless transmission system, and ATOMOSphere, a cloud platform designed for their growing user base, which is an extension of their production cloud service that was introduced a few years ago. Image credit: CineD ATOMOSphere – a free cloud-based service ATOMOSphere is a cloud-based platform that builds on Atomos’ earlier production cloud service. It’s available free to anyone who registers an Atomos device, with 20GB of included storage for camera-to-cloud workflows, backup, collaboration, and archiving. Files begin uploading automatically when recording starts, and collaborators, be they team members or the client, can be given permission to view, comment on, or share in real time. Peter notes that while ATOMOSphere is not intended to replace more advanced platforms like Frame.io or Adobe’s cloud tools, it offers a simple, flexible option for smaller productions.
