Accsoon SeeMo 4K for Android Introduced – First Look

At NAB 2025, Accsoon unveiled a new version of their 4K HDMI video capture terminal – SeeMo 4K for Android. Finally, iOS users won’t be the only ones able to turn their phones and tablets into smart monitoring devices with SeeMo. How does this device work, and what differences does it have from the original version for iPhones and iPads? Nino from CineD stopped by Accsoon’s booth to find out. In case you missed this bit of context, Accsoon got into the smart monitoring market in 2022 with their first SeeMo HDMI adapter. A small device would take the HDMI signal directly from the camera and convert it so that iOS devices could read and use it. That enabled iPhone and iPad owners to implement their devices as an additional camera monitor or a director’s monitor. Later on, Accsoon rolled out a Pro version that also had an SDI connection and a 4K version presented in Las Vegas last year. Now, Android’s turn has finally come. Image source: CineD Accsoon SeeMo 4K: now for Android users In terms of functionality, this new piece of hardware is not very different from its predecessors. It gets the HDMI signal of your camera, converts it, and then out- and inputs it through USB-C ports to your phone or tablet. Just like in the iOS version, SeeMo 4K for Android also charges your phone, allows you to record footage on your phone, and stream the video through WiFi or mobile network. Images source: CineD...
