7Artisans has released a fourth lens in its Spectrum lineup of full-frame lenses: the 14mm T2.9. This ultra-wide-angle lens will be available in Sony E, Nikon Z, Leica L, and Canon RF-mount. It has industry-standard 0.8 MOD lens gears on the focus and iris rings, and it remains highly compact for a full-frame lens. So, let’s take a closer look at it! Chinese lens manufacturer 7Artisans now has a good reputation for creating affordable manual lenses. Last year, the company started making cinema lenses by introducing the Vision series, which covers APS-C image sensors and has an impressive maximum aperture of T1.05. A couple of months later, 7Artisans introduced the Spectrum lineup, which covers full-frame image sensors but with only three lenses at launch: a 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm, all with a T2.0 maximum aperture. On the wide end of the spectrum, you can tell that this lens set was limited.
